AMCOR logoAmcor, the original and sole supplier of STELVIN® closures for wine, with more than 50 years of experience, has unveiled details of an exclusive symposium to be held on 15 March alongside the ProWein exhibition in Düsseldorf. Moderated by wine expert and journalist Jamie Goode, a panel of leading wine makers will discuss and debate wine-ageing under aluminium closures and respond to audience questions about this provocative subject.

Amcor’s symposium brings together some of Europe’s leading wine makers including Albert Gesellmann and Gerhard Markowitsch from Austria and Karl-Heinz Johner & Martin Tesch from Germany. They will share their personal experiences of wine-ageing with STELVIN® closures gained over a number of years and address broader questions about closures and ageing..

The event’s host, Jamie Goode, is a London-based wine writer who is currently wine columnist with the UK national newspaper The Sunday Express and has his own online wine magazine and blog – wineanorak.com. As well as writing he also lectures about and judges wine.  Since January, he has been travelling extensively in New Zealand, California and Portugal, so Amcor is delighted that he is taking time out from his busy schedule to moderate the “Wine-ageing under STELVIN® closures” symposium at ProWein 2016.
