Guarachi Wine Partners Launches New French Rosés

Guarachi RosesLOS ANGELES, CA (February 2016) — Guarachi Wine Partners is pleased to introduce two new French Rosés, La Domitienne and Brun Estate, to the U.S. market.  The global fine wine company has partnered with Jeff Welburn, a long established boutique importer of premium French wines, to bring these products to the national stage.  La Domitienne and Brun Estate are Guarachi Wine Partners’ first brands from France.

Highly regarded as one of the importing pioneers of French Rosés, Welburn has been offering exceptional European wines to the trade from exclusive growers for more than 25 years.  With the addition of these Rosés, Guarachi Wine Partners now represents 19 brands across six countries.  Welburn’s engagement is an essential part of Guarachi Wine Partners’ ongoing efforts to expand their global portfolio.

La Domitienne is a Languedoc Rosé named after the Via Domitia, an ancient Roman road that runs through the Languedoc, connecting Italy, France and Spain.  Its bright and cheerful label represents the region’s sunny climate and bears the cross of Languedoc, the region’s ancient symbol.  Mistral winds and proximity to the Mediterranean temper the climate and cool down the grapes to preserve the fresh acidity.  SRP $9.99.

Brun Estate is a Provence rosé made by the renowned Château de Brigue and contains all estate grown fruit from Côte de Provence.  Its unusual purple label is indicative of the lavender fields of Provence.  The winery is managed by four brothers, the third generation of the Brun family.  SRP $15.

“This is an important step for us as we continue to innovate and evolve our business,” said Alex Guarachi, President of Guarachi Wine Partners.  “Welburn is well known for his expertise in importing fine French wines. He has an amazing pallet and with his skills and relationships, we intend to grow our fine wine business to the next level.”

Jeff Welburn has been offering exceptional wines to the trade from exclusive growers and delivering outstanding value with a depth of choice at key price points since 1991. Welburn is well regarded for his French Rosé portfolio and is dedicated to finding standout wines made by singular winemakers with fascinating back stories. Welburn’s import arm, Jeff Welburn Selections, or “JWS,” is focused on quality over quantity and highlights vignerons and winemakers from around the world that work with sustainable and natural practices that produce renowned wines of stylistic and individual character.
