Great Food, Music and Wine to Kick Off the 2016 Grape Harvest
NAPA, California (June 16, 2016)—Rolando and Lorena Herrera, owners of Mi Sueño Winery have announced that Mi Sueño Winery will host a Harvest Party on Saturday, August 27 from noon until 4 PM. Mi Sueño Wine Club Members and the general public are invited to attend a wonderful afternoon of live music and a special harvest menu paired with the highly touted Mi Sueño wines of Rolando Herrera.
Guests will be greeted at the entrance of the winery with an invitation to have souvenir pictures taken at the photo booth and to partake in the first pairing of oysters and shrimp with Mi Sueño 2013 Los Carneros Chardonnay.
The family will kick off the festivities with a traditional Blessing of the Grapes, taking place at the Olive Grove, followed by lively music from Harvey and the Wallbangers. To add to the tradition, there will be a Grape Stomping event.
A delightful crepe station prepared by French Corner Napa will serve both savory and sweet crepes along with 2012 Mi Sueño Russian River Pinot Noir. Back Forty Texas BBQ will handle the main food buffet station serving a traditional southern barbecue meal complemented by Mi Sueño 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Guests will have the opportunity to have bottle etcher Adam Schneider from Say It On Wine personalize purchased bottles, allowing guests to create extra-special mementos.
“Winemaking is always a family endeavor, one we love to share with friends. That’s why we have a harvest party each year,” said Winemaker/Owner Rolando Herrera.
The Mi Sueño Harvest Party will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 from Noon to 4 PM at the Mi Sueño Winery located at 910 Enterprise Way, Suite M, Napa, CA 94558. Tickets are $100 for Mi Sueño Wine Club members and $125 for non-members.
