San Francisco, CA. (June 16, 2016) – Wattle Creek Winery and Boisset Collection today announce the re-opening of the Wattle Creek tasting room in Ghiradelli Square. Now owned by the Boisset Collection, the new design and decor is inspired by mid-century modern architectural elements, evoking elegance, balance, and sophistication. It bears the signature design imprint of Proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset. Guests will enjoy a luxurious and refined tasting experience against the backdrop of the iconic Ghirardelli Square, a California Historic Landmark steeped in the history of San Francisco. The addition of Wattle Creek and its tasting room to the Boisset Collection occurred in April, bolstering Boisset’s portfolio with wines from the Alexander Valley.
Wattle Creek Winery will continue to produce its iconic Alexander Valley wines that have defined it: Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and the Triple Play red blend as well as Viognier, Muscat, Pinot Noir, and Merlot. Winemaker Matt Michael remains, assuming the role of Consulting Winemaker to ensure continuity of wine style, with consistent vineyard sourcing in the Alexander Valley and Sonoma County.
Wattle Creek wines are offered to guests visiting the tasting room as the Classic Tasting for $15 or the Reserve Tasting for $25. Millions of visitors a year enjoy Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf area and the newly designed Wattle Creek Winery tasting room is dedicated to bringing the wine country experience to guests and visitors of San Francisco. The tasting room is located in the heart of Ghirardelli Square on the Plaza Level adjacent to the central fountain of the East Plaza.

The newly re-designed Wattle Creek Winery is now open to the public and is welcoming guests to discover the newly envisioned tasting room daily from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and 11:00 am to 7:30pm on Sunday. The tasting room is located at 900 North Point Street in Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco, California.
