May 7th – Los Angeles, CA – Title X Wines and Mister Cartoon are set to debut “Lady Impala,” a rare wine and art collaboration, at Wally’s Santa Monica on May 16th.
“Lady Impala” is a singular, sculptural bottle design created by Mister Cartoon, holding a fine, Bordeaux-style blend from Santa Barbara County’s Happy Canyon AVA, made by Vigneron Tyler Russell. Only 385 magnums of “Lady Impala” were produced.
Legendary Los Angeles-based artist, Mister Cartoon, whom the Title X team called on for this project, has worked with an impressive roster of artists, athletes and brands including Eminem, Travis Barker, Dr. Dre, Lewis Hamilton, Christina Aguilera, Louis Vuitton, Nike and Supreme. His life story is featured in the Netflix documentary, “LA Originals”. Critically acclaimed Vigneron, Tyler Russell, is known for his regionally distinctive and intricately nuanced wines, which have consistently garnered rave reviews from leading wine critics.
Title X Wines is a revolutionary atelier, unifying ground-breaking visual artists, celebrated winemakers and innovative creatives. This intentional collective is purposeful, creating singular sculptural works of art containing wines of terroir and character.
Wally’s Event Details
The debut event begins at 5:30 PM with a champagne welcome and a tasting of two Title X wines. Guests will have the chance to see the Limited-Edition Lady Impala bottle, and mingle with the wine and glass makers.
The VIP reception begins upstairs at 7:30 PM with the rare opportunity to meet Mister Cartoon and be among the first to purchase this ultra-limited release. VIP guests will also get a glimpse of the bottle molds and intimately learn about the process from the makers themselves.
