Wine Women Hosts “Influencer Marketing,” on October 17th


WINE WOMEN hosts, “Influencer Marketing,” on October 17th at the Wine Business Center in St. Helena at 6 p.m. Featuring guest speaker Kristy Sammis, founder of CLEVER, and a pioneer in the influencer marketing industry, Kristy will discuss how this marketing strategy has evolved from simply shipping bloggers wine samples in the hopes of a review to working with influencers to develop strategic campaigns.

About the Event

This event is part of WINE WOMEN’s Fall Marketing Series. Guests will enjoy wine and light nibbles while Ms. Sammis will provide attendees with an overview of the influencer landscape and where it’s heading, along with actionable information about:

  • How small wine labels can get the most out of working with influencers
  • How to build manageable and replicable influencer programs

  • Case studies & key learnings from an industry expert

About Kristy Sammis

Kristy Sammis is a pioneer of the influencer marketing industry, having worked to shape the space for over a decade. She began building brand-blogger partnerships in 2006, and founded CLEVER, the foremost influencer marketing agency in the US, in 2009. Developing creative influencer programs for brands such as Ford, Disney, Amazon, LEGO, and Spin Master helped establish CLEVER as one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies (Silicon Valley Business Journal).
