Napa, CA (May 6, 2024) – Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) has named Chloe Tyer as Membership Manager, effective April 1, 2024. Tyer will oversee the strategic direction and growth of the organization’s membership as it heads into its 50th Anniversary year.
A graduate of California State University at Monterey Bay, Chloe is proud to be counted in the first class of the School of Business Management, with a concentration in marketing and hospitality. Chloe has held numerous industry roles, ranging from DTC Director of Membership, to Guest Services and Hospitality.
With over 15 years of hospitality sales and wine marketing experience, Chloe is an experienced leader in the industry, where she has held senior level roles at some of the most noteworthy luxury wine brands including Domaine Chandon, Newton Vineyard, PlumpJack, CADE, Odette, Quintessa, Flowers, Faust, and Heitz Cellar, Stony Hill and Burgess. She started her wine career in Carmel Valley, later transitioning to luxury hotels and food and beverage management. It was during her time at Pebble Beach Resorts that Chloe passed the Certified Sommelier Examination with the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Their work to educate and advocate for the future of Napa Valley’s viticultural community was meaningful to me in my desire to have a greater impact on a place that I am proud to call home and raise my family,” Chloe said. “This role allows me to share the work of the NVG with a wider audience and cultivate deeper relationships within our current membership, while seeking to engage new members.”
Chloe lives in Napa with her husband and two children. When not exploring new wine regions, she enjoys gardening, skiing and beating her husband at Wordle.
