Rohnert Park, CA- On November 14th Wendell Lee of the Wine Institute in San Francisco will lead a seminar at Sonoma State University addressing the most current and upcoming compliance issues affecting areas of operation, production, labeling, and distribution within the wine industry. Specifically covered in the seminar will be the latest news on the use of volunteer help in wineries and California Proposition 65, “The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986”, both of which are prominent and ongoing issues for wine businesses.
Wendell Lee is General Counsel for Wine Institute, the public policy trade association of California wineries. He has been with Wine Institute since 1980 and provides legal services for the organization. Lee brings his extensive legal and wine industry expertise to the seminar to layout the critical details most important to understand in order for wineries and vineyards to remain in compliance with current legislation affecting the wine industry at all levels.
