Our Live Auction Lot Raised $88,000 to Support the Museum and the Arts.

(NAPA VALLEY, CA; April 6, 2018) — On Saturday, March 24th the High Museum Atlanta held its annual wine auction, raising $2.8 million for the Museum’s exhibition and education plans.

Blackbird Vineyards’ lot, a luxury safari in South Africa for six nights and a two-night stay in Harvest Inn St. Helena with Blackbird Vineyards wines and portfolio tasting, ranked number one over the 190+ lots donated. The lot, with an extra safari trip, garnered a winning bid of $88,000.
The vintner events leading up to Saturday’s auction were lively and engaging, particularly Blackbird Vineyards’ vintner dinner. In partnership with Kistler Vineyards and Delta Airlines, guests enjoyed a delicious meal expertly paired with both Blackbird and Kistler wines in a 747 aircraft. At the auction dinner, Blackbird was delighted to share its 2017 vintage of Arriviste Rosé with all guests.
