Sonoma State UniversityRohnert Park, CA – Sonoma State University will offer its popular wine business seminars during a first-ever summer session in June.  The program will be offered as a weeklong intensive, allowing students who travel from out of town to attend all the seminars necessary to earn either the Direct to Consumer or the Wine Industry Finance and Accounting Certificates. The program will be offered June 22nd through 26th on the Sonoma State campus in Rohnert Park, one hour north of San Francisco.

Strong demand for the programs during the spring prompted the decision to offer an additional series of seminars during the summer semester.   Ray Johnson, Director of the Wine Business Institute, remarked that “some of the spring sessions were absolutely bursting with participants.”  He also noted “that many of the participants are traveling from wine regions across the United States to attend our offerings.  The intensive program will make it possible for those seeking to advance their careers to earn a certificate in a single week.”  A partnership with the nearby Doubletree Hotel will make discounted rates available to those participating in the program.
