Wine Industry Network to donate $20 per ticket sold + $1 dollar per attendee of upcoming Expo
Healdsburg, CA, October 23rd, 2017 –The Wine Industry Network (WIN) today announced that for every ticket purchased for the 6th Annual North Coast Wine Industry Expo (WIN Expo), twenty dollars will be donated to #CAWineStrong, a support network formed by wine industry leaders to provide immediate assistance and long-term aid to victims of the Northern California wildfires.
In addition to the twenty-dollar donation, WIN will contribute one dollar for every attendee and exhibitor that comes to the event; each year, the Expo draws upwards of 3,500 people. The 6th annual Expo and Conference will be held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds on Thursday, November 30th and will be the perfect opportunity for the north coast wine industry to come together and reconnect after the tragic fires.
“If there is anything good that has come out of this, it would be the tremendous sense of care and community we’ve experienced here in the North Coast,” said George Christie, President of Wine Industry Network. “The WIN Expo will be the first large-scale industry-wide event to take place here after the fires and it was important that we incorporated a charitable component into the show. #CAWineStrong is an amazing cooperative program that is helping the people in our local community who have been hit the hardest. We just want to do our part.”
