Winery Known for Educated Guess Wines Opens Doors of a New Tasting Room Off Highway 12
NAPA, Calif., September 13, 2016 – Roots Run Deep Winery announced today the opening of their tasting room in South Napa Valley, off Highway 12. Through a long-term partnership with property owner Ken Laird, the opening of this tasting room marks the first time ever Roots Run Deep will be selling Educated Guess wines directly to consumers. The beautiful tasting room space is on the shared winery property with Jamieson Ranch Vineyards, which allows guests to enjoy wines from two great producers under one roof.
In 2014 Roots Run Deep Winery began crafting their portfolio of Napa Valley wines, including the popular Educated Guess Carneros Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and Napa Valley Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon at this winery. The opening of the tasting room allows Roots Run Deep to integrate its production and hospitality all at one location.

Roots Run Deep Winery will pour their Educated Guess brand wines as well as Hypothesis Cabernet Sauvignon in the tasting room. A flight of five wines will be available for $25. In 2017 the winery plans to introduce limited production wines only available in the tasting room. The upcoming winery-only Cabernets will feature the sub-appellations within Napa Valley that compose the Educated Guess and Hypothesis Cabernets. The wines provide an opportunity to showcase specific lots and growers from vineyards in Yountville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Oakville and Howell Mountain. The tasting room is open seven days a week from 10am – 5pm. No reservations are required.
