Focus on “Riding the Successful Wave of California’s Central Coast”

Wine Industry Symposium(Napa, CALIF) – The Wine Industry Symposium Group has announced the program for the 22nd Annual Central Coast Insights Event, set for Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Paso Robles, California at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort. The results of the 2016 Central Coast Insights Survey will be presented at the full-day event, along with a program filled with wine experts and influencers active in shaping the future of the wine business on the Central Coast. Tickets to the popular event are on sale now at www.WineSymposium.com.

“The short 2015 grape harvest in Central Coast presents a challenge to many wineries this year as much of the wine on the bulk market has already been placed. The good news is that 2016 with the recent rain has recharged the soil and should result in a more normal crop,” said David Freed, Chairman, The Silverado Group, “There are new vineyards coming into production, an indicator that the success of the Central Coast will continue.”

“The 22nd Annual Central Coast Insights Event will be held this year at the brand-new Allegretto Vineyard Resort, in Paso Robles,” said Kathy Archer, Wine Industry Symposium Group President, “The program, focused upon the economic and financial side of the wine trade, will include an in-depth look at the wine industry from the point-of-view of several esteemed wine industry professionals from across the region, representing sectors of the business from finance, to research, to the grape and bulk wine market, to cybercrime and several other hot topics that winery executives are faced with today.” The complete program, as well as registration, is now available online at www.WineSymposium.com.

About the Wine Industry Symposium Group

The founders of the Wine Industry Symposium Group met in early 1992 with the hope that by forming a new industry conference, they would create an open exchange of thoughts and ideas concerning financial aspects of the California wine industry.  The Wine Industry Financial Symposium was born. A couple of years later, in 1994, the group started a similar program, the Central Coast Insights Program, to fit the needs of that region. A year later, the Vineyard Economics Seminar was created for grape growers. Because of consistent globalization and consolidation in the wine business, the Wine Industry Symposium Group continues to operate with the mission of providing a critical platform for important communication and dialogue between the multiple facets of the wine business and the lending community.
