Addition to Leadership Team Builds on New Strategic Partnership
New York, August 27, 2015 – Domaine Select Wine & Spirits (DSWS), one of the beverage industry’s most progressive importers and distributors of fine wine and artisan spirits, today announced that Evis Savvides has been named its new Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer. The appointment of Savvides, effective immediately, follows the announcement earlier this summer of a strategic partnership with private equity group Walden Capital Management, which brought new capital investment and management expertise to the company.
“We welcome Evis to the Domaine Select leadership team and are excited to bring his expertise onboard as we grow our business to the next level,” said Paolo Domeneghetti, Founder and CEO, DSWS Imports. Mr. Domeneghetti founded the company in 1999 with Allison Domeneghetti, President, DSWS Merchants.
Mr. Savvides comes to DSWS from SFG, a consulting group focused on helping companies in the consumer goods industry implement and execute profit-driven strategies. A CPA, he began his career in Public Accounting in 1994. In 2000, he moved to the Management Consulting sector, where he served as a partner in a CPA firm’s consulting division. In 2006, he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer for Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, where he worked at the side of the company owners to achieve profitable growth.
