NAPA, MARCH 24, 2015-/Vicard Generation 7 is thrilled to announce Hillary Sjolund has joined the company to handle technical consulting in Washington and Oregon. “I was fortunate to attend the Vicard Generation 7 tasting at the Wines and Vines Oak Seminar and what they’ve achieved with tannin selection and molecular toasting is astonishing” said Ms. Sjolund. “I’m absolutely thrilled to represent this advanced technology in the Pacific Northwest.”
“Hillary’s technical expertise not only as a winemaker but also as a scientist is a perfect fit for us” said Christy Thomas, Business Development Manager of Vicard Generation 7. Ms. Sjolund is a consulting winemaker and owns and operates a harvest laboratory in Washington State as well as making her own wines under an independent label. In addition to working in wine production operations, Hillary sits on the board of the Washington Wine Technical Group, is a member of both the Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers and the Washington Wine Commission, Research Committee and teaches online winemaking courses for VESTA through Missouri State University.
