Consumers Can Now Enjoy this Perfect Red for Fall Sipping

Winesellers, Ltd., a globally – recognized importer and marketer of fine wines, is pleased to add Rabisco Reserva Tejo 2015 to its expansive portfolio. Derived from the Tejo region in Portugal and featuring traditional Portuguese grapes and several international varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional, this full-bodied red debuts later this month – just in time for fall imbibing!

“With red wines being favored during the cold-weather months, we are thrilled to bring this to consumers and expand our Portuguese portfolio,” said Winesellers, Ltd. Vice President Jordan Sager. “Maturing for nine months in new French oak barriques creating complex aromas of red fruit, spicy notes and balanced hints of wood, oenophiles will enjoy sipping this wine as the seasons change.”

To the Portuguese, Tejo is known as the land of vineyards where nature is preserved and appreciated. The region’s name is attributed to the river that has defined the landscape and climate and can be credited for shaping the distinct Tejo terroir, making the surrounding plains and riverbanks an ideal terrain to cultivate Portugal’s native grapes. The São João Batista is about 76 hectares with traditional Portuguese grapes and several international varietals like the Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional. The excellent micro-climate (near the Tagus River) and the rich quality of the soil contribute to the production of excellent wines.

The Rabisco Reserva Tejo 2015 pairs best with Mediterranean cuisine, roasted meats and cured cheeses for a delicious and enjoyable meal that transports the diner to the exquisite beauty of the Tejo region at reasonable retail price of $13 nationwide.
