Luxury Winery’s Food & Wine Workshop Aims at Inspiring and Educating

HALL Napa Valley, one of the leading Cabernet Sauvignon producers in the world, has announced the return of its premiere culinary offering, A Taste of HALL. Back for year three, the dynamic monthly culinary workshop returns with an all-star line-up of visiting Napa Valley Chefs and is designed to engage, inspire and educate guests about seasonal food and wine pairings while channeling one’s inner chef. A Taste of HALL is a two-hour, full dining experience that includes HALL and WALT wine pairings with select dishes.

“This series adds an engaging layer to our St. Helena offerings,” says HALL’s Director of Hospitality, Jocelyn Hoar. “Today’s modern travelers are looking for a hands-on, experiential offering that embodies the essence of Napa Valley. A Taste of HALL combines practical food and wine pairing techniques led by a panel of renowned Napa Valley Chefs.”

Luxury stemware brand, Riedel Glassware, has been selected as the 2017 Series Sponsor and will be providing a custom-etched Riedel glass takeaway for each attendee. Guests will learn how selecting stemware is an important element of grape varietal expression. Additionally, guests will participate in lively discussions about food, wine, and pairings while learning about modern technology in the kitchen.

ABOUT HALL

HALL produces critically acclaimed artisan Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, available to taste and buy at two properties in Napa Valley as well as at hallwines.com. Owned by Bestselling authors Craig and Kathryn Hall, its vineyard collection features seven estate vineyards, of which five are California Certified Organic (CCOF). Each vintage, Vice President of Winemaking Steve Leveque crafts distinct Cabernet Sauvignon wines which demonstrate the unique characteristics and diversity of Napa Valley terroir. HALL’s wine portfolio includes two 100 point scores given by critic Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, for its 2013 Rainin Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and its 2010 Exzellenz Red Wine. HALL also earned the #2 spot in Wine Spectator’s “Top 100” for its 2008 Kathryn Hall Cabernet Sauvignon. Since the first vintage in 2002, over 50 HALL wines have earned 95 point and above scores. The HALL St. Helena winery was the first LEED® Gold Certified Winery in the State of California in 2009 and earned another LEED® Gold certification for its high tech production facility and Tasting Room in 2014. HALL’s partner winery, WALT, known for producing premier Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from distinctive vineyards, is located in Sonoma, California.
