Annual Partnership with Napa Humane Supports Napa Valley’s Furry Friends

napa humane imageHALL St. Helena, one of the leading luxury wineries located in Napa Valley, has announced its fourth annual partnership with Napa Humane, a non-profit organization committed to promoting the welfare of companion animals through protection, advocacy and education. The effort takes place on October 17 and includes an all-day discounted 2-for-1 wine tasting offer at the winery, activities for pets to play on the Great Lawn, handmade dog snacks and more.

“We are thrilled to partner again with Napa Humane for Harvest Hounds,” says Director of Hospitality, Jocelyn Hoar. “Seeing so many people coming together for such a great cause is heartwarming.”

On Saturday, October 17th, 10% of all wine sales at HALL St. Helena will be donated to Napa Humane. Additionally, there will be a donation opportunity in the St. Helena Tasting Room for guests visiting during the month of October who are unable to attend the event, but want to contribute to the Harvest Hounds effort.  Guests visiting HALL St. Helena during the Harvest Hounds event will be offered a two for one tasting, a $30 savings which benefits Harvest Hounds, that will take place in the Dining Garden and Workshop. Dogs drink for free. Guests are encouraged to bring their dogs to the property during the event and have a chance to learn more about the Napa Humane organization, while pups enjoy homemade designer cookies by Ma Snax.

“We are so grateful to the Hall’s support of so many local organizations in Napa Valley,” says Jane Albert, Executive Director of Napa Humane. “Through their generous contributions, Napa Humane is able to continue our spay/neuter, vaccine and educational programs that help save the lives of companion animals throughout the Valley, and provide support for the people who care for them.”

Since 2011, HALL has donated nearly $33,000 to Napa Humane through HALL’s Harvest Hounds and Cabernet Cookoff events.

ABOUT HALL

HALL produces critically acclaimed artisan Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, available to taste and buy at two tasting room and winery locations in Napa Valley. Owned by Craig and Kathryn Walt Hall, its vineyard collection features five Certified Organic estates producing classic Bordeaux varietals. Each vintage, Director of Winemaking Steve Leveque crafts 16 distinct Cabernet Sauvignon wines which demonstrate the unique characteristics and diversity of Napa Valley. HALL’s highly rated wines include the 2008 “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon that earned #2 of the “Top 100” Wines in Wine Spectator and its 2010 ‘Exzellenz’ was awarded 100 points by Robert Parker, Wine Advocate. Since the first vintage in 2002, over 85 HALL wines have been rated 94 points and above. HALL employs high-density plantings and small vine viticulture combined with two cutting-edge, gravity-flow wineries to produce the highest quality wines. In addition, the HALL St. Helena winery was the first LEED® Gold Certified Winery in the State of California in 2009 and earned another LEED® Gold certification for its high tech production facility and modern tasting room in 2014, making HALL pioneers in the use of green buildings for the wine industry. Each of HALL’s state-of-the-art winemaking facilities and tasting rooms combine modern art and architecture matched with spectacular settings.
