Philadelphia winery enlists Broadway stars for an east vs. west wine video challenge

NEW YORK, NY (February 18, 2015) – Christian Campbell and America Olivio, stars of stage and screen, teamed up with the Broadway Dreams Foundation and Grace Winery for an East vs. West Coast wine-video challenge. The result is a hilarious Great Gatsby-inspired video series entitled The Great Grapesta.

Representing the East Coast vinter-rappers is Chris Le Vine, proprietor of Pennsylvania’s Grace Winery. Born with the perfect name for a vinter (and a rapper), Le Vine honors his sister Grace, the niece and namesake of Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, with his label. Le Vine utilized the triple threat talents of his daughter Ginna Le Vine, along with Broadway stars and BDF students, including Paul Canaan (Kinky Boots), Skye Mattox (On the Town), Kristen Faith Oei, (The King and I), Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime), Brooke Singer, Greg Kamp, and Rayquila Durham, to throw down the proverbial goblet.

California’s Nello Olivo Winery, El Dorado (Le Vine’s West Coast rivals); are not willing to go down without a fight. Spearheaded by America Olivio’s father, Nello, the West Coast winery will soon release a “holla back” video, which will mark the official start of The Great Grapesta Wars.

Produced by Christian Campbell, America Olivo, BDF Executive Director Annette Tanner, and Chris Le Vine, The Great Grapesta was directed by Christian Campbell, Maxx Reed (Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark), and Frank Dale Arroyo with choreography by Maxx Reed.
