SC Beer Cider SpiritsSANTA ROSA, California – The 2015 Sonoma County Beer, Cider & Spirits Conference will convene the dynamic Sonoma County craft beer, cider and spirits industry for a half-day event to be held on February 27, 2015 from 1:00pm to 5:30pm at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel in Santa Rosa, CA.

Keynoting the event will be Fritz Maytag and Keith Greggor, the previous and current owner of the renowned Anchor Brewing Company. Hear about the brilliant professional relationship that fostered a successful synergy and an amenable transition from Maytag to Greggor in 2010.

Maytag is a craft brewing legend in the United States, and after 45 years as the head of Anchor Brewing Company, Maytag sold to Greggor and Anchor Brewers & Distillers LLC was formed. Maytag developed Anchor Brewing Company into one of the most well established craft brewing companies in the nation, and to expand its portfolio, Greggor brings years of experience in the distilled spirits industry to the company. Anchor Brewers & Distillers LLC includes brands such as Anchor Brewing Company and Anchor Distilling Company, among others. Maytag has remained Chairman Emeritus for Anchor, and believes that “Anchor will be enjoyed in San Francisco for generations to come” under Greggor’s leadership.

Bringing the international spotlight onto Sonoma County’s craft beverage industry most recently, Moonlight Brewing Company and Lagunitas Brewing Co. products made the list of 100 Best Beers in the World by Men’s Journal. In addition, gaining national attention recently, Pliny the Younger, a brew from Russian River Brewing Company, was proclaimed as one of the 10 Most Travelled-for Beers in America by Orbitz.com and Sonoma Cider was named to Forbes’ list of “Hottest Startups” of 2013. From established producers to emerging start-ups, Sonoma County hosts a premier eco-system for the craft beer, cider and spirits community, all of which will be on display at the conference this February.

Sonoma County’s annual industry conference is a unique opportunity to network across this thriving sector. With a sell-out event last year, and over 400 guests expected to attend this year, you will build awareness and promote your business in one of Sonoma County’s fastest-growing industries. Following the success of the 2013 inaugural conference, we are now introducing 4 breakout sessions covering: wastewater, retail, financing, and regulations. From producers to suppliers to professional service providers, attendees will leave the conference with a fresh insight into the emerging trends, challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

This conference offers an unrivaled opportunity to integrate your company into the commercial community and learn about the new and developing opportunities within the industry.
