Oregon Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Food and Wine Fest Returns to the Willamette Valley 

Twenty-two AAPI-owned restaurants, wineries and a mobile mocktail bar will be  participating in this second-annual event. 

Dayton, OR (April 9, 2024) After the sold-out success from last year, the Oregon AAPI Food & Wine Fest will return for year two on May 18 and 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Stoller Family Estate Experience Center in Dayton.  

May is Oregon Wine Month and AAPI Heritage Month, and this Fest is celebrating both in a big way, offering attendees curated bites and flights from AAPI-owned Oregon restaurants and wineries (full lineup listed below). In addition to the Fest at Stoller, Oregon AAPI Food & Wine will host dinners in Portland on May 16 at Xiao Ye with Evening Land Vineyards and on May 23 at Langbaan with Alexana Winery

“Currently, there are 12 known AAPI wineries of the 1,000+ wineries in Oregon, and we’re so excited to have representation from nine of them this year at the Fest,” said Lois Cho, Founder & Executive Director of Oregon AAPI Food & Wine and Founder/CEO of CHO Wines. “To me, this event and our dinners in Portland are really a way to bring together the rich food and wine industry we have to offer  here in Oregon, highlighting AAPI vineyards and restaurants.” 

AAPI Food & Wine Fest tickets were released to the public on Monday, April 1. For those interested in early entry for a Tournant Oyster and Snack Bar paired with sparkling wine, VIP tickets are available at $125. General entry tickets are $75 and include a souvenir cup, passport to tastings, twelve bites from six chefs, ten wine tasters from five wineries and two non-alcoholic mocktail tasters from Spirit of Sage mobile bar. Upon purchase, guests can select between 11AM-1PM, 1-3PM, 3-5PM tasting windows.

Limited Designated Driver tickets are available at the same cost as general admission, and shuttle service from Portland is available as an add-on option for $35/per person, made possible by sponsor NW Wine Shuttle. Ten percent of ticket sales will go to beneficiaries Safe Route Immigration and APANO

Each day of the Fest will feature a different talent line-up.  

Saturday’s lineup includes chefs from Bamboo Grove, Jeju, Magna Kubo, Norah, Tan Tan Café, Warsugai, and wineries: Alexana Winery, CHO Wines, Hundred Suns, Junichi Fujita, Kristof Farms

Sunday’s lineup includes chefs from Aji Fish Butchery + Zilla Sake, Hapa Pizza, Kimjonggrillin’ + FryBaby, Kolectivo (Magna Kusina+Sunrice), Xiao Ye, Yaowarat, and wineries: Et Filles, Evening Land, Landmass Wines, Shiba Wichern and CHO Wines
