(July 6, 2023; Sonoma, Calif.)—Named one of the top Sonoma wineries to visit by U.S. News & World Report, Carneros-based Ram’s Gate Winery is known for being a can’t-miss destination in Sonoma with a breathtaking tasting room, a world-class culinary program and compelling Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bottlings. This summer, Winemaker and General Manager Joe Nielsen is excited to announce a lineup of warm-weather offerings that invite guests to get outdoors and enjoy the season’s bounty.

“Our Howard Backen-designed tasting room is a quintessential indoor-outdoor space that opens to our 28-acre, organically farmed vineyard and rolling hills of Carneros. On warm days, summer breezes roll through our tasting area and create the ultimate space for an elevated tasting in our main tasting room, or an opportunity to lounge in the cabanas by our pond. We hope guests will choose to join us for these idyllic summer days when they visit Sonoma this season,” says Nielsen.

Wine & Wellness Yoga Series: On the second Saturday of every month through Sept. 9, Ram’s Gate offers Yoga at the Pond. Surrounded by vineyards and facing the willow-lined pond, the hourlong class, taught by Nadra McAuliffe of Lion Heart Yoga, focuses on the body-mind-spirit connection through moving flow and postures to build strength and flexibility. After the class, guests may enjoy a glass of wine and light bites created by Executive Chef Ruby Oliveros. The experience is $50 per person.

Lounge with a group at Ram’s Gate’s Cabanas: Through Oct. 31, Ram’s Gate offers a Sip & Savor at the Pond cabana experience. Surrounded by Ram’s Gate’s 28-acres of organically farmed vines, guests may savor the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere of the vineyard pond while sharing a bottle from the curated wine list.

Taste the Season with Ram’s Gate’s Summer Menu: Highlighting Sonoma County’s bountiful produce, Executive Chef Oliveros has crafted a new menu for Ram’s Gate’s five-course Seasonal Wine & Food Experience. The menu can be seen here and features pairings including the 2019 Ram’s Gate Pinot Noir, Bush Crispo Vineyard, with lemongrass-infused pork tenderloin and 2019 Ram’s Gate Chardonnay, El Diablo Vineyard, with spring onion and squid ink pasta. The experience lasts two hours and is $160 per person.

Wine and Bites: An abbreviated take on the seasonal wine and food pairing, the Wine and Bites experience offers guests the opportunity to enjoy Ram’s Gate’s culinary offerings through small bites expertly paired with delicious wines. This 60-minute experience is $80 per person.
