Luther Burbank Center for the Arts to Present Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series

HEALDSBURG, CA (March 17, 2022) – Rodney Strong Vineyards and Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced the 30th (almost) Annual Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series to be held at Rodney Strong Vineyards in Healdsburg, California, this summer. After announcing in March, 2020, an expansion of their long-standing relationship with plans for LBC to present the concert series, the partners had to postpone the events due to the pandemic.

For this summer’s concert series, Rodney Strong and LBC invite the community to reserve their seats or ready lawn blankets and plan to enjoy live music, award-winning Rodney Strong wines, and delicious food trucks from local purveyors, all nestled in the vineyards outside the bucolic town of Healdsburg in northern Sonoma County.

The Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series will feature a line-up of local favorites, kicking off in July with Tower of Power, followed by Colbie Caillat in August and Blues Traveler in September. All shows will take place on the Rodney Strong Vineyards Concert Green. Priced between $59 to $99, tickets will go on sale to the public on March 25 and can be purchased online at lutherburbankcenter.org, by phone at 707-546-3600, or in person at the LBC box office, 50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa.

“We are delighted to finally present our much-anticipated Summer Concert Series after a two-year delay, and we couldn’t be more confident to place its success in the hands of Luther Burbank Center for the Arts,” said President Carmen Castaldi. “We have supported LBC’s efforts to connect our community through the arts across schools, homes, and stages for the past 14 years, and we are all excited to bring our expanded partnership plans to fruition.”

“After a long and patient wait, we are ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work with Rodney Strong Vineyards to produce its best Summer Concert Series yet,” said Rick Nowlin, President and CEO of Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. “It is a testament to the collaborative strength of our partnership that we can pick up where we left off and bring this spectacular summer event to the North Bay community.”

Winery founder Rod Strong began his career as a celebrated dancer, choreographer, and producer. Today Rodney Strong Vineyards continues to honor this legacy through support for the arts and the local community. In 2009, Rodney Strong Vineyards and LBC launched the Rodney Strong Dance Series which brings high caliber dance performances to Sonoma County.
