Communications Strategy will Highlight 260th Anniversary + New Manifesto “It’s All About Love”

NEW YORK, NY, September 10, 2020 – Champagne Lanson has announced Feast Public Relations – a fine wine and food public relations agency – as its agency of record beginning this year and continuing through 2021. FeastPR will develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to support Lanson’s dynamic new developments and manifesto, “It’s All About Love.”

Established in 1760, Maison Lanson, an independent, family-owned business, is one of the oldest Champagne Houses, and is proud to have stayed true to the values that have guided it for 260 years. With a history of surpassing limits to produce Champagne appreciated around the world, it is renowned for its invention of the iconic Black Label in 1937, and for a range of cuvees with a signature style that combines fruit, freshness and vitality. This aromatic signature is the result of expertise based on four pillars: a meticulous attention to selecting the crus, a traditional vinification method with predominantly non-malolactic fermentation, a rich collection of reserve wines, and longer aging in cellars.

With an eye towards future environmental health, Lanson is one of the only Champagne Houses to farm organic and biodynamic vineyards at its Malmaison estate, the largest such vineyard in the Champagne region. The resulting Lanson Green Label – now part of its permanent range – is the only Champagne to have achieved every organic and biodynamic certification. In other recent developments, the Maison is introducing a new capsule range – which includes deep insight about its blends on the back label – and is launching the Lanson Academy, an on-site training center for trade and media.

The new manifesto “It’s all about love,” reflects the Maison’s belief that “the world, like happiness, is better when shared”. It reflects their love for the soil and the terroir, the love of sharing and being together, and their commitment to the values of openness, kindness, humility, authenticity, and elegance.

“We are thrilled to represent such a prestigious producer as Champagne Lanson in its 260th year,” commented FeastPR Founder Jennifer O’Flanagan. The partnership will encompass a dynamic messaging campaign focused on the Lanson’s rich 260-year history, its Core and Rare & Exceptional Ranges, new packaging, and unique, on-site experiences via the new Lanson Academy.  This will include the Maison’s commitment to the environment and its growers, as overseen by Lanson Winemaker Hervé Dantan with support from Viticultural Relations Managers Hervé Galimand and Delphine Garza.
