PLACERVILLE, CA: El Dorado Wine Grape Growers Association President, Benjamin Falk, has announced that Gabriel Froymovich of Vineyard Financial Associates will be addressing grape growers and interested parties at 6:00pm on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the El Dorado Grape Growers Association meeting held at the Veterans Memorial Building located at 130 Placerville Dr., Placerville.

The presentation focuses on El Dorado County and will include: advice on structuring, evaluating and negotiating contracts; a review of Froymovich’s past forecasts and target prices for El Dorado County; an outlook on the future of El Dorado grape pricing; and, analysis of future risks for the wine industry. Grape growers and vintners are encouraged to attend and bring their questions.

About Gabriel Froymovich: Froymovich has been involved in the wine industry since 2005. He holds a B.A. from Goucher  College and an MBA from UC Davis with an emphasis on the wine industry and the economics of the wine industry.  In addition, he has studied viticulture at Santa Rosa Junior College, winemaking at the University of California at Davis Extension, wine evaluation through the International Court of Master Sommeliers, and statistics through the University of California at Berkeley Extension.

Froymovich worked in various positions within the wine industry: retail and tasting room sales, associate winemaker, tasting room manager, wine producer for his own brand, and as a North Coast vineyard manager.

Beginning in 2009, while pursuing his MBA, Froymovich began developing mathematical models for forecasting in the wine industry.  He also began providing consulting services in 2009, with two defining emphases: 1) the use of data and financial analysis to improve operations, provide accurate forecasting, identify investment and marketing opportunities and perform valuations of difficult-to-value assets; and, 2) emphasis on discrete competitive and market research and analysis conducted for companies looking to start, expand or acquire new lines of business in the wine industry.

Please join us for this important presentation. All growers and vintners are encouraged to attend. There is no charge but wine donations are always appreciated.
