Renaissance Yeast Inc. to Present on H2S-preventing Wine Yeast Technology at ASEV Conference in Portland on June 18

Renaissance LogoVancouver, BC — June 2, 2015 — Dr. John Husnik, CEO of Renaissance Yeast Inc., will be presenting in an Industry Seminar at the 66th American Society for Enology and Viticulture (ASEV) national conference in Portland, OregonJune 15-18.

Dr. Husnik’s topic will be “Cross Breeding and Other Techniques for the Development of Organisms to Meet Today’s Winemaking Goals” and it will take place in the Industry Seminar – Winemaking session on Thursday, June 18from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Dr. Husnik will present the latest research on development of industrial microorganisms for winemaking and will include discussion on the science of classical breeding, its role in the development of Renaissance’s H2S-preventing yeast strains, and how the use of classical breeding and other techniques have been beneficial to the wine industry. The moderator for this industry seminar will be C.M. Lucy Joseph of UC Davis.  Dr Husnik and Renaissance representatives will be available to answer questions throughout the conference.
