March 23, 2015 (Baltimore, MD)- Watch and bet on live turf and dirt horse racing while sipping on some of the best wines from across the state at the 5th Annual Decanter: A Celebration of Maryland Wine & Racing at Pimlico Race Course, taking place on April 18-19 at the Pimlico Race Course (5201 Park Heights Ave.) from 12 pm- 6 pm both days. The event, sponsored by the Maryland Wineries Association in partnership with the Maryland Jockey Club, allows guests to sample a wide variety of wines, mead and cider from over 20 Maryland wineries, browse wine & equine themed arts and crafts, enjoy live music, dine on local fare and experience live horse racing from the prestigious 2nd Floor Grandstand. In addition, there will be a “best-dressed” contest each day for both men and women, where winners will receive two tickets to a future Maryland Wine event and a pair of tickets to the Black-Eyed Susan Flute Club concert.
General admission tickets are $30.00 and include admission to the Grandstand area and tastings throughout the day. The Decanter Pass VIP ticket is $50.00 and includes an upgraded wine glass, a 6-bottle wine carrier and samples of exclusive Decanter wines from each attending winery including new releases, limited productions, premium label wines and more!
