King EstateEUGENE, OR – King Estate Winery, the iconic Willamette Valley based Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris producer, announces today the plan to separate their wildly popular Acrobat Wines into a new division of the company. “Acrobat has earned its own division and dedicated leadership,” says Ed King III, CEO.

The plans for separation, which will include the brands’ own winery and licensing, new director of winemaking and a designated sales team, results from the explosive growth following Acrobat’s launch in 2009.

CEO Ed King III, says, “This is a natural evolution for the Acrobat brand and for the King Estate family. In order to continue the rapid growth and plan for an expansive future, Acrobat will receive the physical space and distinctive leadership that it requires to continue to be a category leader. We are very excited about this development.”
