Women for Winesense 25Restaurateur Michael Gyetvan, owner of Azzurro Pizzeria, Norman Rose Tavern and the recently opened Atlas Social in Napa, will lead a discussion of the Napa|Sonoma Women for WineSenseFinance/Accounting Roundtable II meeting on wine purchasing from the perspective of a restaurateur on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at noon, at the offices of Coughlan Napa CPA Company in downtown Napa.  Lunch at Gyetvan’s Azzurro Pizzeria restaurant after the meeting is optional for attendees.

This Women for WineSense (WWS) Roundtable Discussion is open to any finance/accounting professional who wishes to attend. Bring friends and colleagues. Exchange business cards with other colleagues in the wine and hospitality industries and in local area businesses. Gyetvan’s wine purchasing discussion will focus upon what a restaurateur looks for in wine selection, pricing and markup considerations, and buying and inventory management for multiple restaurants.

Guest speaker Gyetvan first moved to California to work at Tra Vigne. He then helped open both Lark Creek Inn and One Market for the Lark Creek Restaurant Group and returned to Tra Vigne in 1993 as chef de cuisine, a position he held for four years. He and his wife, Christina, opened Pizzeria Azzurro on Second Street in 2001 and moved it to Main Street in February of 2008. They opened Norman Rose in late 2009. Their newest restaurant, Atlas Social, is located on Dwight Murray Plaza in the space previously occupied by First Squeeze and Bistro Sabor.

The Napa|Sonoma WWS Finance/Accounting Roundtable II meets quarterly. Details can be found on their Roundtable webpage.  Future meeting dates are noted in the WWS Napa|Sonoma Events Calendar as well.
