French Provençal rosé house Chateau Minuty has announced the appointment of its first dedicated team member in the United States, Michelle Waleck, as the Business Development Director, North America.
Owner François Matton, comments “Michelle’s appointment is a reflection of our growth ambitions in the North American market and we are delighted to be extending the Minuty team into the United States.”
With seventeen years industry experience, just prior to this appointment, Michelle, based in New York, spent five years with Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) as the State Manager. In this role, Michelle was responsible for developing TWE’s world class portfolio including Chateau Minuty across the New York Metro area. Michelle will be harnessing her experience and expanding her remit across North America to deliver Chateau Minuty’s strategic objectives. Michelle will continue to collaborate with TWE’s marketing and sales teams to deliver growth of the luxury portfolio of Cotes de Provence rosés.
In 2016, Treasury Wine Estates was appointed the exclusive importer for Côtes de Provence rosé producer, Château Minuty. Chateau Minuty is currently one of the best-selling rosé brands in the United States growing at an astonishing rate over double-digits.
