Multi-Emmy Award Production Team Based in Sonoma County
January 2018, Santa Rosa —- Ken Fuhr Media has launched it’s very first branding film since relocating from New York less than a year ago. Ken has been working as an Emmy Award winning Director of Photography for prestigious broadcast news programs like 60 Minutes and 20/20 amongst many other types of documentaries and corporate fare. He also is a Communications Specialist for New York-based Clarity Media Group. Clarity Media Group is well known for its high level of effectiveness in media training, presentation coaching and message development. After three decades based in New York City, Ken Fuhr relocated to the wine regions of the North Bay area in California in 2017.
“We are thrilled with our premier branding film for Bruliam Wines. Kerith Overstreet is the owner, winemaker, bottler, labeler, tank sanitizer and mother of three. She gave up her life of being a pathologist to become an oenologist, essentially swapping her doctorate degree for a degree in wine from UC Davis. As she humorously states, I went from yeast to yeast.”
Fuhr explains, “My speciality is creating video driven content for wineries, distilleries, breweries and other hospitality trade. The tremendously positive feedback that we received from those who have viewed the Bruliam branding film is that her story is very clear and compelling.” Fuhr attributes this accolade to using his communications coaching background. He media trained Kerith, as well as going over her messaging and honing her on-camera skills, before ever lifting his camera.
Fuhr’s team includes Joachim Blunck, his Creative Director. Blunck and Fuhr met back in 1986 when Blunck was one of the founding fathers of 20th Television’s syndicated hit show “A Current Affair” and Ken was a cameraman. As both Blunck and Fuhr have an extensive background in news and documentary production, they have the expertise to make films that look like a Hollywood productions, but produced by a very small crew, allowing them to be flexible with their clients schedules and budgets. Ken Fuhr Media offers the full gamut of production services from concept and script writing, to shooting and post production, and will work in collaboration with their clients public relations or advertising agency.
