At Cantine Carputo, a series of events to discover, understand, and experience wine through the senses. An important step toward a more inclusive vision of wine, focused on sharing and accessibility.
April 30, 2026 (Quato, Naples) — An experience open to everyone, without barriers. This is the most significant new feature of the 2026 edition of the Mini Wine Introduction Course at Cantine Carputo, which for the first time will also be accessible in Italian Sign Language (LIS), thanks to the presence of interpreter Valentina Di Leva.

An important step toward an increasingly inclusive idea of wine, capable of speaking to everyone and being enjoyed by all, in the spirit of sharing and accessibility.
The winery opens its doors to a sensory journey that goes beyond simply drinking: a story made of aromas, territories, techniques, and traditions, where each glass becomes an opportunity for discovery. An experience that combines education and pleasure, guiding participants to learn not only how to taste, but how to truly understand wine. The lessons will be led by lecturers and tasters from the Italian Sommelier Association – Campania, key figures in the sector who will accompany participants through a structured yet engaging journey. Each session will last approximately two hours, and at the end of the course, participants will receive an AIS certificate of attendance.
The program consists of six sessions: after “From Vineyard to Bottle: Viticulture and Oenology” and “Wine: Introduction to Sensory Analysis,” the following lessons will take place: May 5 “The Art of Tasting: Senses at the Service of Wine,” May 12 “The Importance of Terroir: Wines of Sun, Hills, Sea, and Volcano,” May 23 “Winery Visit and Tasting,” May 26 “Perfect Pairings: Food and Wine for Every Occasion.”
The course will be guided by AIS Campania, represented by Nicoletta Gargiulo, Paola Licci, Franco De Luca, and Gabriele Pollio. Throughout the entire course, the presence of LIS interpreter Valentina Di Leva will be guaranteed, confirming Cantine Carputo’s commitment to a truly accessible educational experience.
“Every wine has something to tell, and it is precisely in listening, discovery, and sharing that the true value of this experience is born,” is the message accompanying the course, designed to transform curiosity into awareness and tasting into emotion.
“Wine is sharing, it is connection, it is storytelling. And a story, to truly be one, must be able to reach everyone,” emphasizes Valentina Carputo. “We strongly wanted this course to be accessible also in Sign Language, because we believe that wine should have no barriers. It is an important step for us, born from the desire to make our winery an increasingly open, inclusive, and welcoming place.”
