July 17th – (ANNAPOLIS, Md.) – The Maryland Wineries Association is pleased to invite members of the media to attend the prestigious award ceremony honoring the winners of the 2023 Maryland Winemasters Choice Competition. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the enchanting Boordy Vineyards, located at 12820 Long Green Pike in Hydes, Maryland.
The Maryland Winemasters Choice Competition is an esteemed annual event that recognizes the outstanding achievements of wineries in the region. This year, we are proud to present the Comptroller’s Cup, the highest accolade, to Boordy Vineyards for their remarkable 2015 Veritas dessert wine. The Comptroller’s Cup represents the pinnacle of excellence and is awarded to the winery that demonstrates unparalleled craftsmanship and innovation.
Join us as we celebrate Boordy Vineyards’ remarkable accomplishment and acknowledge their dedication to producing exceptional wines. The award ceremony will include remarks from prominent figures in the wine industry, as well as the presentation of the Comptroller’s Cup to the deserving recipients.
