Healdbsurg, CA, May 18, 2023 – The second annual Healdsburg Wine and Food (HWFE) is a highlight of the wine country event season but it is also Allie Ketcham’s birthday. Faced with this dilemma,  we are bringing the party to the event.

If you happen to be at the Grand Tasting on Saturday, May 20th in the heart of lovely Healdsburg, stop by the Ketcham Estate tasting booth and have a perfectly paired celebratory birthday cupcake, enter a drawing for prizes and enjoy an insider’s industry discount of 30% off on all wine purchases at HWFE or if you order online using coupon code ALLIEBD..

The small winery sits in the best growing region in the Russian River Valley and lays claims to the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the appellation. Founded by bon vivant car collector, wine aficionado Mark Ketcham, he soon brought his new wife into the wine business. With two children, a slew of dogs and a rapidly growing winery, Allie was unprepared for Mark’s death in 2020 when she became both head of family and head of the winery.

Fortunately, Mark Ketcham knew to surround himself with strong women and owner Allie, director Renee Graves and winemaker Tami Collins persevered and expanded the Ketcham Estate offerings to include exclusive Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings and Rhone whites like Viognier. This is a winery run by women who make the wines they like to drink. Fortunately, they are able to share this passion with other women – and men – and continue the Ketcham wine journey after Mark’s death.

And, as Mark was a mad golfer, Allie took up the sport and now plays golf across the country, hosting wine dinners and seminars at some of the most exclusive golf clubs, finding that golf and wine make a great pairing.

Take advantage of Allie’s birthday, stop by the Ketcham tasting tent  or order online. When visiting Sonoma County, contact Ketcham for what is regarded as one of the most intimate private wine tastings in Allie’s home overlooking the estate’s thirteen acres of Pinot Noir.
