Reflecting Growing Portfolio of Global Wine Brands

Sylvia Bronson

SALINAS, CA — November 11, 2021 — Scheid Family Wines, based in Monterey County, California, is pleased to welcome Sylvia Bronson as its first Chief Marketing Officer. With over 14 years of experience as a global brand marketing leader and growth strategist with Fortune 500 corporations and early-stage start-ups, Bronson brings an extensive skill set in all aspects of marketing. The addition of Bronson reflects Scheid Family Wines’ commitment to their growing portfolio of global wine brands, including Sunny with a Chance of Flowers, and focus on expanding its distribution and market share.

Prior to leading the marketing department at Bently Heritage Estate Distillery, Bronson held several positions with Constellation Brands, moving from their premium brand division into innovation commercialization and ultimately served as Global Marketing Director for their Imports Division. Before this time, Bronson was with E. & J. Gallo Winery where she launched her career in the wine industry, working in various capacities across their value and luxury wine portfolios.

Throughout Bronson’s career, she has been responsible for strategic planning, development, and implementation of market strategy, brand communications, and PR initiatives to build wine brands. She has a proven track record of success as a growth strategist, experience launching new product innovation, developing new routes to market, and establishing key success metrics to drive consistent reporting and results.

“I am thrilled to welcome Sylvia to Scheid Family Wines as our first Chief Marketing Officer during this exciting time in our evolution as a company. Our Marketing department has grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years. With her expertise and insight, this position is pivotal in continuing our momentum and trajectory for growth,” said Scott Scheid, President and CEO.

Bronson received her MBA in Marketing from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She resides with her family in Truckee, California and in her spare time can be found skiing the beautiful slopes of the Lake Tahoe area.
