May 25, 2021, Santa Maria, CA – Miller Family Wine Company, a division of the industry-leading Thornhill Companies, is pleased to announce the hiring of Jamie McCreary as Director of Sales, Central Region.
McCreary brings over 20 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry to her new role with Miller Family Wine Company. After starting her wine career as a sales representative for two family-owned distributors, now RNDC NE, McCreary became the Wine & Spirits Department Manager for HyVee, Inc. McCreary went on to spend the next six years at Standard Beverage Corporation, working her way from Portfolio Director, Premium Wine to Vice President, Premium Wine to Vice President, Brand Management. In 2018, McCreary took on the role of Regional Manager for Wente Family Estates, responsible for managing regional business-to-business relationships, distribution, budgeting, and inventory management. During her first year, she increased net revenue by 15%, then consistently identified opportunities to increase sales and expand key accounts year after year, including 2020. Well-versed in all areas of wine and spirits, McCreary holds her WSET Level 2 and Intro to Sommelier certifications and is also a Certified Specialist of Wine, a Certified Wine Educator, and a Certified Specialist of Spirits.
As Director of Sales, Central Region for Miller Family Wine Company, McCreary will oversee 20 states, including such key markets as Texas and Colorado, using her extensive expertise in marketing and sales to drive growth in both the on-premise and retail channels.
