Oregon Wine Trail comes to New York for one-day event May 6, 2019

Artisan foods paired with exceptional wines from 60 winemakers at first Oregon Wine Trail event to be held on the East Coast

PORTLAND, February 7, 2019 – The Oregon Wine Board is bringing 60 of its most esteemed winemakers and a generous pour of Oregon’s fine wine and pioneering spirit to New York on May 6, 2019 for The Oregon Wine Trail, New York City. Oregon, which as a winemaking region, grew eight times faster than the overall wine category in dollar sales for 2018 according to Nielsen, is hosting this all day event at the Altman Building on 18th street. Included will be a Masterclass for the trade, a walk-around tasting for both media and trade, and a consumer tasting in the evening:

Masterclass: 12:00 – 1:30pm

Trade/Media tasting: 1:00 – 4:30pm

Consumer event: 6:30 – 9:00pm

Along with Oregon winemakers, Oregon artisan producers Olympia Provisions, Jacobsen Salt Co., Stumptown Coffee Roasters, the Oregon Cheese Guild and more will be on hand for a grand happening of Oregonian wine, food and personality.

Consumers interested in exploring Oregon wine and food may purchase tickets here. Admission includes wine tasting with 60 wineries, gourmet cured meats from Olympia Provisions, handmade Oregon cheese, light passed hors d’oeuvres and other bites to accompany the wine, and Stumptown Coffee to keep people perky. The Altman building is located at 135 W 18th St, New York, NY 10011.

This full day of Oregon wine and food education and celebration will represent Oregon’s varied geographic and climatic diversity, including winemakers from the Willamette Valley, Southern Oregon and Columbia Gorge AVAs. Participating wineries are:
