Musical acts include exciting performances by multi-platinum and world-renowned artists
OAKVILLE, Calif. (April 9, 2018) – Robert Mondavi Winery, in association with BottleRock Presents, has confirmed that Gavin DeGraw, Citizen Cope, Brandi Carlile, X Ambassadors and Fitz and The Tantrums will headline the 49th annual Margrit Mondavi Summer Concert Series. Tickets go on sale April 10 at 10 a.m. PDT for one of the most beloved wine, food and music event highlights of summer in the Napa Valley.
The concert series is presented this year by United MileagePlus® Cards by Chase and begins June 30th with multi-platinum selling singer, performer and songwriter, Gavin DeGraw with special guests The California Honeydrops. The winery’s annual fireworks display will top off the evening. Singer-songwriter Citizen Cope brings a mix of blues, soul, folk and rock on July 7, with special guest Vintage Trouble. GRAMMY™ nominated artist Brandi Carlile will perform on July 14. On July 21, popular American rock group X Ambassadors will take the stage with special guest Cobi. Closing out the series on July 28 is American indie pop and soulful R&B revival group Fitz and The Tantrums, with special guests The Mowgli’s.
In addition to the musical performances, guests can enjoy food from local vendors including Cousins Lobster, Vintage Sweet Shoppe and Ben & Jerry’s. Robert Mondavi Winery wines will also be available for purchase.
The Margrit Mondavi Summer Concert Series began in 1969, when Mrs. Mondavi’s passion for the arts was put on the big stage. In its 49-year history, the series has raised millions of dollars to support a number of Napa Valley-based charitable music organizations. In keeping with this tradition, Robert Mondavi Winery will donate proceeds from this year’s ticket sales to the Napa Valley Unified School District’s music programs.
Tickets go on sale April 10 at 10a.m. PDT. Doors open at 5 p.m. with performances beginning at 7 p.m. at Robert Mondavi Winery, located at 7801 St. Helena Highway in Oakville, California.
