VANCOUVER, BC – March 28, 2018: Sokol Blosser Winery and Trialto Wine Group Ltd announced today that they have entered into an exclusive sales and marketing partnership throughout Canada.

The alliance of premium wine importers partnering with Sokol Blosser includes: Trialto Wine Group for Western Canada and Quebec, Noble Estates Wines & Spirits for Ontario and Innovative Beverages for Atlantic Canada. This importer alliance was created in 2016 and will give Sokol Blosser nationwide representation with three of Canada’s leading fine wine import agencies.

“We’ve been exporting wine to Canada since the mid-1980s, and Canada has grown into the largest export market for my family’s wines. The food and wine scene in Canada continues to inspire us and is something we want to be a part of. We are excited to partner with the teams at Trialto, Noble and Innovative Beverages, each of whom are the fine wine experts in their respective provinces, to share my family’s stories and wines while championing Oregon Pinot Noir throughout Canada” Alison Sokol Blosser, Co-President, CEO and Second Generation Winegrower noted earlier this week.

“With a brother-sister duo at the helm, Sokol Blosser perfectly encapsulates what we look for in a partner: family-owned and operated with wines that tell a story about the people who make them, the place they come from and the history behind them. They are ‘People, Place and Time’ in its entirety,” states Richard Dittmar, Trialto Wine Group’s Vice President for Western Canada. “We are very excited to begin this partnership and further develop the strong, respected brand presence they have in the industry today.”

About Sokol Blosser

In 1971, the Sokol Blosser family planted grapes on just five acres in the Dundee Hills. As one of the pioneering wineries of the region, Sokol Blosser has played a key role in developing and shaping the now-prominent Oregon wine industry. The winery is family owned and operated, with the second generation now at the helm: siblings Alex and Alison Sokol Blosser. To continue their commitment to sustainability on and off the vineyard, the family achieved B Corp certification in 2015. Today the winery farms 128 acres of vineyards and creates wines of world-class quality, produced in a sustainable manner, which reflect the distinctive flavors of the grapes, soil and climate.
