Round Pond Estate Promotes Scott Reed to National Sales Manager


Rutherford, California (March 14, 2018) – Round Pond Estate announces the promotion of Scott Reed from Eastern Division Sales Manager to National Sales Manager. Reed will work with the sales team to ensure the continued success of Round Pond Estate across the country. 

“Scott has demonstrated expertise and passion for the wine industry and has been critical to the success of building our brand,” said Miles MacDonnell, co-owner of Round Pond Estate. “He will only continue to strengthen our trade relationships and brand identity. “

Reed joined Round Pond Estate in January 2015 as Midwest Regional Sales Manager before being promoted to Eastern Division Sales Manager in May 2017. Before joining Round Pond Estate, Reed spent time with other wineries and importers including C. Mondavi & Sons and Casa Vinicola Zonin, along with past experience in the Finger Lakes wine region, wholesale and retail industries. Scott’s wealth of knowledge and passion for the wine industry distinguishes him as a respected expert in the field.

Reed lives in the St. Louis, MO. area, with his wife Laura and has three daughters, Autumn, Ashton and Ella. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, music and is a keen lover of history.


Owned and operated by the MacDonnell Family, Round Pond Estate is located in the heart of Napa Valley’s Rutherford appellation, comprising 366 acres planted to primarily Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. Starting out as growers in 1983, the MacDonnells began making estate-grown wine in 2002 and established the winemaking facility and tasting room five years later, eventually partnering with renowned consulting winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown to critical acclaim.
