Saxco International, LLC Assists Four Roses Distillery, LLC with Packaging Upgrade for Its Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Seeking to upgrade the image for its Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Four Roses Distillery, of Lawrenceburg, KY is refreshing its packaging with a new vibrant and dynamic look.

To help create the renewed packaging designed to maintain consistency, in style and color with its other signature products, Four Roses Small Batch and Four Roses Single Barrel, it engaged the services of Saxco International, LLC, world-wide packaging specialists for the wine, spirits, beer and food industries and its vast global resource network.

“Our role was to help Four Roses craft a beautiful new package with an attractive overall eye appeal and a distinctive shelf prominence which is commensurate with the Bourbon’s premium quality and elegant smooth taste,” states Jason Craig, regional sales manager for Saxco International. Craig worked closely with the Four Roses product development team to bring the new package into the American marketplace. “We tried to make it as turnkey as possible and bring it all together on time and within budget parameters,” Craig notes.

To move the project ahead Saxco reengineered the neck of the commercial quality 750 ML flint bottle to accommodate the new custom bar top natural cork assembly closure for the bottle. The bottle is embossed on the front with the brand’s iconic rose cluster. Saxco sourced and supplied the bottle from one of its long time reliable American suppliers in Indiana. The mahogany bar top cork was sourced and supplied through one of its long time quality supply partners in Portugal. Both vendors are integral supply sources in the company’s vast global resource network.

“I’ve always believed that this is an exceptional Bourbon and I’m excited to offer it in a bold new package that better reflects the elegant, smooth and mellow character of the premium spirit inside,” said Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott. “The Bourbon itself is unchanged. We will continue to use the same formulation and age of the liquid to create the same classic and consistent flavor that has made this a long-time favorite with our consumers.” It is available in all 50 U.S. states.
