Oakland, California, May 1, 2017 –The Oakland Wine Festival will showcase the wines of select Napa Valley and other families on May 28, 2017 at 2:30pm. The Oakland Wine Festival presents a monthly seated tasting, Soiree and Silent Auction featuring the wines of our Honorary Steering Committee members. Herta Peju, an Honorary Steering Committee member, will showcase a variety of wines from PEJU Province Winery. Herta will be joined by her daughters, Lisa and Ariana, who will delight us with their wines from Liana Estates. Herta, Lisa and Ariana will be joined by brother, Anthony Perliss, who will present the hard-to-get wines of Perliss Estate Vineyards. Anthony will also pour WINGSPAN Wine which is his sister, Tessa’s wine! Malk Family Vineyards, the smallest producers of 100% premium hand-crafted Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stag’s Leap District rounds out this Wine Family Affair.
We are also delighted to present wines from one of our local wine-neighbors, Building 43 Winery. Finally, no wine family event would be complete without the world renown, McBride Sisters Wines on the table! Sisters, Robin and Andrea have launched their collection which features tasty bubbles.
