Healdsburg, California – October 18, 2016 – International Wine Associates, the California based M&A advisory to the wine & spirits industry, announces today that IWA has completed six sell-side transactions in the ultra-premium wine business in 2016.
Since 1990 IWA has represented a number of family owned wineries, most of the multinational companies in the wine and liquor business and various banks.
With companies in California, Oregon and Washington, IWA has completed the sale of a number of well-known wine estates, businesses, brands and assets for a combined value of over US$ 1.3 billion, including the sale of over 4,700 acres of premium vineyards.
