Paper Plane WinesNapa, CA –April 2016:  Olive and Poppy, an online collection of wine country-inspired goods, and Paper Planes Wine, boutique producer of a single Russian River Valley rosé, announce a summertime collaboration for the most dedicated of rosé enthusiasts. A stylish canvas wine tote, carrying a bottle of coveted 2015 Paper Planes’ Rosé, is the chicest way to adorn this pale pink beauty. Arrive at this summer’s backyard barbecues, dress-up a hostess gift or just show some rosé pride at picnics with this small lot rosé and matching duck canvas tote.

Reflecting the quality and creativity that Olive and Poppy has come to be known, the Rosé Wine Tote is made from heavy-weight canvas with copper rivets and genuine rose gold leather handles. The marrying of minimalist design and a pop of modern color make for the ultimate rosé statement. The exterior of the bag reads, “Rosé isn’t an afterthought—It’s our only thought,” summarizing the belief that drove partners Kyle Gabriel and Laura Maguire to found Paper Planes, the only winery in Sonoma County to exclusively produce rosé. Now on their second vintage, Paper Planes focuses on producing one single wine—a crisp, vibrant rosé of Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley.

“We bonded with Laura and Kyle over our mutual fanaticism for all things rosé. We’re such fans of what they do—we wanted to find a way to work together, create something both useful and beautiful, and do something meaningful at the same time,” says Olive and Poppy designer, Anne Siegel.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Anne and Nicole on this exclusive wine tote that brings Paper Planes to life in a whole new way. Olive and Poppy’s mission aligns perfectly with ours: to create thoughtfully sourced products to enjoy with friends,” says Paper Planes co-founder, Laura Maguire.

Rose isnt an afterthought

On sale May 16th via the Paper Planes website (paperplaneswine.com), the Rosé Wine Tote will retail for $48 including the tote and one bottle of the sought after Paper Planes’ Rosé. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the tote benefit the Feast it Forward Foundation, the charitable arm of Feast it Forward, an online network and lifestyle brand based in Napa Valley. Alongside their original network programming, they promote “products with purpose” which raise funds to support 20 different charities each year within the categories of Women, Children, Animals, Health and International.

About Paper Planes Wine:

To Kyle and Laura Maguire, wine is about more than great quality and taste, but about sharing it with friends and the lasting memories created together. No other wine does this better than rosé. Their passion for rosé and creating these experiences called them to make Paper Planes and share this on a larger scale. Now on their second vintage, they are the next generation of winemakers looking to share great wine with all the friends made along the way.
