Los Olivos, CA – Fess Parker Winery has elevated its tasting room experience for guests to enjoy a closer and more intimate look at the Fess Parker portfolio of wines. With enhanced tastings and food pairings now offered beyond the celebrated traditional flight of “on the menu” wines, guests will explore a thematic table-side tasting guided by one of the winery’s wine educators. From a single vineyard flight of Santa Barbara County selections, to expressions of Pinot Noir and beyond, the enhanced tasting experience will deliver a personal look inside Fess Parker wines, all while sitting around a table with friends on the newly expanded terrace at the renowned winery.
Always committed to delivering a special experience for guests, Fess Parker Winery is proud to offer in-depth wine knowledge from any one of five team members who have completed the prestigious Master Court of Sommeliers Introductory certification.
Beyond the enhanced tasting experience, the Parker family now offers guests the opportunity to taste and savor with a food and wine pairing that bring together Fess Parker wines with specially created seasonal dishes and Parker family favorites. Offered on Saturdays and Sundays, food pairings will feature a range of selections from classic French cassoulet paired with Syrah, to chicken pot pie made with locally sourced chanterelle mushrooms, sage and acorn squash alongside a single vineyard Pinot Noir. Enjoy a lively atmosphere around a table on the terrace and beside the outdoor fireplace and raised bed organic garden.
Furthering their love for food and wine, the Parker family invites you to join them and members of the winemaking team at one of three Spring Family Lunches. Chef de Partie, Ashley Williams, will prepare a seasonal wine country meal with a family style shrimp boil accompanied by special selections from the Fess Parker family of wines. You will be given an inside look at the intricacies of growing the wine grapes that become Fess Parker wines, with a personal discussion on flowering, bud break, trellis systems and more. The winemaking team will then give you a sneak peek at future releases while enjoying some barrel tasting. Spring Family Lunches will be hosted May 6th, May 20th and June 7th.
