Well-respected industry media personalities Sara Schneider, wine editor of Sunset Magazine, and Jim Gordon, editor of Wine Enthusiast and Wines & Vines, will join respected winegrower Andy Beckstoffer for an engaging panel discussion facilitated by Paul Wagner of Balzac Communications that will examine “What’s in a Wine Region?”

An exploration into “The Dynamics of Sauvignon Blanc” will feature a discussion with Christian Miller of Full Glass Research and Peter Molnar of Obsidian Ridge and a technical tasting of Lake County Sauvignon Blanc. Several industry representatives including Nancy Light of Wine Institute, John Aguirre of California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG) and Allison Jordan of California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA), will share updates and details on available resources.

The afternoon will conclude with a wine social featuring Lake County wines, hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chic Le Chef, and music by David Neft.
