Westwood WineSonoma, Calif. Ñ Neat Wines has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Westwood Estate Winery in the state of Louisiana.

Founder Max Loubiere takes special care to partner with “small production, high quality, handcrafted boutique wineries” with many partner wineries among the leaders in organic and sustainable farming. Westwood employs Biodynamic™ practices at its estate Annadel Gap Vineyard in Sonoma Valley.

The Neat Wines portfolio includes such notable wineries as Alpha Omega, La Sirena, Loring, Matthiasson, Orin Swift, Scarecrow and Tuck Beckstoffer.

Westwood General Manager Chris Vyenielo says the Neat Wines team will focus on winemaker Ben Cane’s limited production Pinot Noir offerings, including some unique bottlings featuring single Pinot Noir clones, along with the winery’s collection of Rhone wines, including a Westwood Syrah, Mourvèdre and Legend, a proprietary blend of Tannat, Syrah and Counoise.

Westwood wines are primarily sourced from the estate Annadel Gap Vineyard, centered in the north end of Sonoma Valley at the intersection of Hood Mountain and Sonoma Mountain. This cool, 22-acre vineyard is planted to 27 micro-blocks featuring nine distinct Pinot Noir clones, four Syrah clones and rare plantings of Counoise, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Roussane and Viognier.

Neat Wines is headquartered in Metairie, Louisiana (www.neatwines.com). Westwood Estate Wines are found in the town of Sonoma in the Westwood Tasting Room just off the Square at 11 East Napa Street. Learn more at www.westwoodwine.com
