Trade alliance for women in the alcohol beverage industry to host intimate, informative gathering in wine country
October 20, 2015 (New York City, NY) – The Women of the Vine Alliance (WomenOfTheVine.com) will hold a special “Mix & Mingle” networking and educational event for women professionals in the alcohol beverage industry at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in Napa on Friday, November 13 from 4:30-6:30 PM. The event will take place in the Great Room in the Wine Cave as well as their beautiful new FAY Outlook & Visitor Center and will include cheese and charcuterie as well as wines by the glass.
The event will be hosted by Women of the Vine Alliance President and Founder, Deborah Brenner and Women of the Vine Advisory Board members: National Account Manager, Bacardi USA, Sommer K. Meyer; Vice President National Accounts, Infinium Spirits, Rebecca Jensen Running; Vice President Marketing, J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, Cynthia Lohr; and Distinguished Professor of Wine & Management., Sonoma State University Dr. Liz Thach, MW.
Brenner is extending an invitation to members and non-members of the Women of the Vine Alliance to attend the event at no charge. “These Mix & Mingle events are great opportunities for women who are interested in learning about Women of the Vine to come out, enjoy a glass of wine, and network with some of the most prominent professionals in the alcohol beverage industry,” said Brenner.
The annual Women of the Vine Global Symposium, which offers extensive education, advocacy, training, mentorship, networking and steadfast support for women at every position in the industry, will be held April 4-6, 2016 in Napa, making this Mix & Mingle event a taste of what attendees can expect to find in the spring.
