Wine Creek LLC Hires Douglas Allan as Brand Manager

Doug Allan headshotHealdsburg, CA (Sept. 23, 2015) –Douglas Allan has joined Wine Creek, LLC as brand manager for its Quivira Vineyards and La Follette Wines.

Allan joins Wine Creek from Crimson Wine Group in Napa, where he was the brand manager responsible for Seghesio Family Vineyards and Chamisal Vineyards. He has extensive experience in all aspects of brand marketing and sales and will focus his efforts on the trade channel with Wine Creek.

“Doug brings deep wine brand management experience to Wine Creek and is a valuable addition to our developing team,” noted Greg Ralston, general manager of Wine Creek LLC. “We are delighted to have Doug join us as we work to realize the full potential of these two outstanding and unique brands – La Follette, with its focus on vineyard designated Burgundian varietals, and Quivira Vineyards with a long-history of producing benchmark Dry Creek Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and reference point Rhone varietal-based wines.”

Prior to joining Crimson Wine Group, where he worked for more than two years, Allan was the managing director and co-founder of Stacked Wines, a pre-poured, single-serve wine package. Earlier in his career he was the retail sales and hospitality manager for Chateau Montelena Winery in Calistoga, where he headed up all tasting room programs, including marketing, merchandising and sales. Allan has an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a degree in hotel administration from Cornell University, as well as a diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). He lives in Calistoga, California, with his wife and daughter.
