OAKLAND, CA (August 5, 2013) Carson E. Wright has been appointed as Sales Account Manager for Wine Northwest Region for Saxco International, LLC west coast operations, it was announced here today by David Schwandt, Vice President of the wine category for the company.
Wright will be directly responsible for the day-to-day sales functions and new account development with wineries located primarily in the states of Oregon and Washington. Saxco International is a major distributor of glass bottles, containers and other packaging components principally to the wine and beer industries in the Western United States. The company is the largest distributor of wine bottles on the West Coast and supplies bottles, containers and components from Saxco Private Label, Owens-Illinois, Verallia and Saver Glass, as well as numerous international manufacturers
Prior to being appointed at Saxco International Wright was employed as Northwest Sales Consultant for Cork Supply USA in Portland, OR. Prior to that he served as Field Marketing Manager for Earth2O, and Account Executive for Jack Nadel International, both also of Portland, OR.
He is a graduate of Portland State University where he earned a bachelor’s of science in management and a bachelor’s of science in human resources. He also is currently enrolled in the wine certificate program at
the University of California Davis Extension in Davis, CA. He is a resident of Portland, OR.
